A: You may choose to print your artwork at home, or take it to a local professional print shop. You can even submit it to an online printing service of your choice. That's all up to you! You can copy your printable file onto a USB flash drive and bring it to your print shop, some places even accept online/email file submissions these days. For additional info, see our Printing Guide.
Q: Can I print my finished artwork at any size?
A: You can print your artwork at the size you ordered, or any size smaller than that with no loss in quality.
Q: But I really want to print my art larger!
A: You technically can print the artwork larger than what you ordered as well, but there will be a loss in quality if you do this. Print it too large and it will look pixelated or blurry. We're in the process of adding larger possible sizes to the website, currently we have 12" and 16" available, with 20" offered in our Etsy Store.
Q: Can I print my artwork on things besides paper?
A: Yes, you can! You can print digital files on all kinds of stuff these days! Our customers have gotten canvas prints, mugs, stickers, and even t-shirts! The possibilities of what you can do with just a single art file are endless.
Q: The colors came out weird when I printed it!
A: (This hasn't actually happened with any of our customers yet to my knowledge. Just pre-empting anything that could go wrong.) Printed artwork will always have a slight color shift from what you see on your screen. That is because screens and inks have slightly different color ranges, and some colors possible on one are not possible on the other. The print should still look good on its own though. If it looks super off, it's likely an issue with your printer. If you are printing the artwork at a print shop, they should be able to help you out with this and do a reprint for you to correct any issues.
Q: My art print came out all pixelated/fuzzy!
A: Make sure you are printing your high resolution printable file, not your preview file. The preview file is for web use only. If you are sure you're printing your printable file, make sure you are printing it at or under the size you ordered. Please contact us for help if you're still having trouble.
Q: Something happened to my print / I've lost my art file!!
A: If you still have your art file you can make a new print! If you've lost your file, check in your email/etsy messages and just redownload it. If that fails, we can attempt to recover it for you and send it to you again. We usually keep all of my customer's art files backed up just in case. Rest easy!
